Dr. Lawrence Otieno Jabuya

Dr. Lawrence Otieno Jabuya is an agricultural economist, agribusiness strategist, and climate resilience leader with over nine years of experience in sustainable development and community transformation.

As Managing Director of Amity Sustain Centre and a prospective PhD scholar, he specializes in inclusive agribusiness, food systems resilience, and governance. He serves as National and International Vice Chairperson of the Chuka University Alumni Association.

As Founding Visionary and Chairperson of ARHICA's Board of Directors, he provides strategic direction, governance oversight, and policy leadership to advance inclusive, climate-adaptive African communities.

Eng. Linus Eldon Okong'o serves as Vice Chair of ARHICA, providing strategic governance leadership, executive oversight, and institutional continuity. A technology executive and enterprise leader, he is the Founder and CEO of Lintech Group Solutions and Lintech Brands INC.

He champions institutional strengthening, digital infrastructure development, strategic partnerships, and youth-centered innovation in climate action. His leadership integrates governance discipline, innovation, and accountability into sustainable development.

Mrs. Samantha Akoth Anyuor

Mrs. Samantha Akoth Anyuor, is an agricultural researcher, educator, and food system transformation specialist. She is dedicated to advancing sustainable food systems, climate adaptation, and community-centered agricultural development. Samantha served as a Graduate Assistant at Chuka University for five years, contributing to research, teaching, and academic programs within the faculty of Agriculture. Throughout her professional journey, she has worked as an agricultural extension agent, conducting farmer training and educational programs, supporting adoption of climate-smart agricultural practices with a commitment to promoting resilient and inclusive food systems. Her work focuses on bridging research outcomes and practical field solutions to improve resilience and livelihoods among farming communities.

Samantha holds two Master of Science degrees in Food Security and Sustainable Agriculture, and Agricultural Extension which spans her experience in community engagement and awareness. She also serves as Reviewer with Environment, Development and Sustainability, contributing to scholarly work focused on sustainability, environmental management, and development. Currently, she works as an Educator in York County, Virginia, while also engaging in freelance research and development initiatives. She remains passionate about research, education, and evidence-based solutions that promote sustainable and inclusive development within ARHICA and the broader agricultural sector. At ARHICA she serves as the Vice Chairperson Board of Directors in charge of Gender, Social Inclusion, and Safeguarding. Samantha brings a research-driven perspective, strong community engagement experience, and a deep commitment to advancing sustainable agriculture, climate resilience, and knowledge-sharing initiatives that empower communities and improve livelihoods.

Mr.Cersey Ochieng Onyango

Mr. Cersey Ochieng Onyango, an accomplished Environmentalist and a PhD candidate, is a dedicated researcher bringing over 8 years of extensive experience bridging the gap between academic inquiry and practical field solutions.

Throughout a distinguished career, he has worked with international research and project implementation collaborations with Makerere University, Bowie State University, CoElib-Egerton University, University of Waterloo among others. His professional journey is further defined by 4 years of hands-on expertise in project management and implementation, notably serving as a consultant and field manager for Community Health Support (COHESU-Kenya) and Waterloo University. Mr. Onyango actively participates in a wide array of biodiversity conservation programs, leveraging his comprehensive background in Environmental Science to drive sustainable change and evidence-based decision-making. He is also deeply committed to the intersection of policy and practice and currently serves as a lecturer at Egerton University and as an Associate Editor for Pan Africa Science Journal (PASJ).

Novie Joan Okuku is a dedicated Public Health professional and Program & Project Delivery Officer with a strong focus on environmental health and climate resilience. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health from Chuka University, with expertise in disease prevention, health promotion, and community-based interventions. Her academic and practical experiences have shaped her commitment to addressing the intersection of climate change and public health, particularly among vulnerable populations. Through her industrial attachment, Novie strengthened her competencies in program support, community engagement, data collection, and reporting, demonstrating strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
